Npd Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a NPD Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in Eye, Suffolk with a salary of up to £55,000. This is a brand-new position due to business growth and will sit within the procurement department and offers excellent progression opportunities over the next few years.

This role will be responsible for design, planning, execution, and communication of projects.

Candidates will have previous experience within new product development specifically within a FMCG environment.

Role responsibilities of the NPD Manager include:

• Conducting market research and analysis for all new products
• Monitoring industry trends and competitors' activities to stay informed about market dynamics
• Managing the entire product development lifecycle from first concept to full customer approval
• Monitoring and managing supplier's performance to an approved specification
• Managing packaging standards for all bought in and manufactured goods
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans

Person Specification of the NPD Manager

• Previous experience in a similar role within an FMCG organisation
• Experience working in projects/cradle-to-grave new product development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent MS Office skills

Salary

Up to £55k with x3 days a week working from home
