Nurse Assessor

Merco Medical are proudly recruiting, in partnership with Independent Assessment Services, for a Nurse Assessor to work office based on the DWP's Personal Independence Payment service.

All full and part time roles now include a flexible self-led schedule following a 6-week working pattern based on your preferences, in agreement with your line manager.

As a Nurse Assessor you will:

• Use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct paper-based reviews of claims, independent health assessments and to write reports for the DWP.
• You will be using your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your clinical experience, skills & knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified, and professional.
• Use your Clinical nursing expertise in a new way whilst enjoying a great work-life balance with excellent benefits

Salary: £38k rising to £39k after 6 months and £40k after 12 months. There is also an annual 10% performance related bonus.

Requirements:

• At least one year s post NMC registration Nursing experience working with people aged 16 to 64.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be a competent user of IT.
