Nursery Assistant

Are you a Nursery Assistant with experience of working with Early Years children? If you are an Early Years specialist, or have strengths being a Nursery Assistant for children in Nursery and Reception then this is the role for you!

From Easter, a Huddersfield Primary school is looking for a Nursery Assistant to work in their school Nursery with occassional cover in Reception. Duties will include:

• Supporting with learning through play
• Supervision as well observations
• Following the Development Matters EYFS framework
• First Aid trained or willing to do a First Aid course
• Personal care
• Supporting children with SEND needs

As a Nursery Assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupils, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with your time. Some pupils will require some personal care and first aid.
