We are currently looking for an experienced Early years professional, to join our small welcoming team. :)
Our friendly well established, nursery pre-school in Farnborough, is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead and run a small team within the nursery preschool.
The preschool is open from 8am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. The successful candidate will work 40 hours and will be running and leading a team on the nursery floor and assisting in the office as and when required.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager:
To manage in the day to day running of the nursery.
To support the nursery staff and to ensure that they comply at all times with all policies, procedures and standards, including health and safety, hygiene, inclusion and confidentiality.
To lead the planning of safe, creative and appropriate opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.
To develop and maintain good relationships and communication with parents/carers.
To help supervise and contribute to performance management of staff according to policies and procedure's.
Working creatively with children within the EY framework, in order to provide an enabling learning environment for all children.
Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
To Manage the daily team and office duties.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience of working in leadership/management within a childcare setting.
Must hold a relevant Childcare / Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 3 or above.
Experience of working with the Early Years Foundation Stages.
Ability to lead the effective planning of learning.
Ability to set, demonstrate and promote good practice in line with the ethos of the Nursery
Experience of having kept written records of children’s achievements including observations.
Excellent communications skills.
Hours Full time - 40 hours per week - Salary is negotiable and will reflect the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
