Nursery Manager

Pinner Nursery has been established since 1994 and has recently been acquired by Family First. The nursery is registered for children aged from 3 months until 5 years of age. The nursery has three rooms; the Duckling room, Robin room and Owl room.
Children have access to our beautiful secure, all weather, secluded landscaped garden which is situated at the back of the nursery. Free parking is available for our parents in the Grimsdyke carpark for drop off and pick up purposes which is adjacent to the nursery.
For the role of Nursery Manager we are looking for someone who is experienced and ready to take on a new challenge. You will need to have a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification and be available to work 40 hours per week, varied shift patterns between the nurseries open and closing times. Salary ranging from GBP45,000 - GBP48,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.
Ensure that company policies and procedures are embedded, applied and adhered to by all.
Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations.
Embed effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources which are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Promote a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
Manage any complaints or concerns raised in a thorough and timely manner and inform senior management.
Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
Participate in all activities related to nursery publications, advertising, public relations, the web site, and other marketing activities designed to promote the nursery.
Promote positive relations with an approachable manner and time to listen to your team.

As Nursery Manager, you will need:
Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - Essential
Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
Over 1 year's experience of working in a management position - Desirable
Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding - Desirable
