Nursery Manager - East London

Job Summary:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead the nursery team, manage resources, and develop policies to maintain a high-quality early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Leadership and Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, providing leadership and direction to the staff team.
•    Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the curriculum meets the needs of all children and aligns with the EYFS framework, promoting high-quality learning experiences.
•    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with EYFS and Ofsted regulations, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
•    Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
•    Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
•    Parental Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and the local community, addressing concerns and fostering a supportive environment.
•    Quality Improvement: Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the quality of care and education provided.

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Level 5 Qualification: Relevant Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
•    Experience: Extensive experience in early years management.
•    Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
•    Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Knowledge of EYFS: In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and best practices in early childhood education.
