Nursery  Manager - Wimbledon
Full time - 40 hours
Salary up to £50k

Purpose of the job: 
To provide safe, high quality education and care for early years children. To fulfil
legal and statutory requirements. To lead and manage staff on a day-to-day 
basis. To contribute to and to implement early years policies. To ensure that all
statutory, legal and setting obligations are followed and met.

The Nursery Manager will be a member of the Management Team supporting the Deputy Manager, 
contributing to the strategic management planning, monitoring, evaluation and development of  Nursery . 
The Nursery Manager will be office based primarily (except in special 
circumstances defined as an emergency will be room based) supporting the Deputy Manager and 
Director in the operation of the Nursery school, ensuring that the best possible environment and care 
are provided for young children and their education. The Manager will support development and 
learning for all children with a particular focus on the specific needs of children aged 0-5 years.
• To work to provide continuity and affective communication between Directors and, 
the nursery team and clients.
• To model “ best practice” to support staff development
• To support the Deputy Manager in developing the personal and professional role of the Early 
Years Practitioners within the setting.
