TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Nursery based in Exeter with their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing, ambitious Nursery with like-minded practitioners to provide the best possible early start for young children. They focus on a child centred approach to learning and prioritise the children’s individual needs. It’s a busy and thriving environment with lots of opportunities to plan stimulating activities and to create a fun and supportive atmosphere.

The nursery is looking to employ a qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a long-term basis with the opportunity to be offered a permanent position. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across different ages groups within the nursery.  In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right person and they’re currently looking to fill a number of permanent and management roles. An excellent level of communication is required along with an in depth and up-to-date knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

· Level 3 NVQ or equivalent required

· Experience with the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum

· ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in

· Reliability and a compassionate nature
