Job description

The Play Team provide play / activity opportunities to children and young people throughout their stay, responding to childrens individual needs and supporting children and families to cope with their hospital experiences. For long term patients, a key role for the Play Team is to support global development through play, activities and events. Strong communication skills are essential as establishing effective verbal and written communication with the children and families and all members of the multidisciplinary team is pivotal to the overall care of children. If you are passionate about play, are able to build good relationships with children, young people, families and the people you work with then we would like to hear from you.
