About the role:
- To work as a member of a team to always provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment for the children, in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
- To provide a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to aid their stages of development.
- To ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This includes changing nappies and toilet training.
- Maintaining toys and play equipment.
- Finding ways to stimulate children particularly those with special and sensory needs.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding.
Nursery Practitioner Specification:
- Holds a relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare.
- You must hold an enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to apply for one.
- EYFS experience
- Great communication skills
- Experience supporting young people with SEN is desirable.
