We are currently seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants with availability Monday to Friday for ad-hoc positions. Earn a competitive £12-£13 per hour while enjoying the flexibility to choose your workdays. As a Nursery Assistant, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners, fostering their development through creative and educational activities. If you hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, possess an NVQ or Cache certificate, and have previous experience, we invite you to apply. Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant will include:
- You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management
- You must safeguard children
- Creating inviting activities for the children in your care
- Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners
- You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
- You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children

These are some of the requirements that we need to get you cleared:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- At least 6 months experience working with children (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A true passion to work with children
- Able to display sensitivity and patience
- CACHE L2/L3 or direct nursery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of EYFS
