Nursery Practitioner

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.

Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.

Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.

Follow nursery policies and procedures.

Be punctual and reliable for shifts.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A recognised Early Years qualification, ideally Level 3 (will accept Level 2).

Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.

A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.

A passion for working with children and helping them develop.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.

Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.

Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safety procedures.

Job Types:

Salary: 11.75- 13.75 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)

Worked with children aged 0-5 years (Must have)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
