SalaryWoodside Barn Day Nursery is looking for a nursery apprentice to join our team!
Will be required to complete Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ
32 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To create a warm and welcoming environment
- An ability to use own initiative and share ideas and information
- A willingness to learn skills in identifying and meeting the children’s needs individually and within a group.
- A willingness to learn skills in observation and recording and put these into practice.
- Learn good knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage framework and how to put the document into practise.
- The ability to work within a team, maintaining positive relationships and developing productive teamwork.
- Listen to advice/constructive criticism from peers/management and act upon it.
- An awareness of Health and Safety within the nursery and ability to report any hazards for the purpose of risk assessments
- Be supportive and diplomatic in your approach towards parents and children.
- To have and show commitment to Bright futures Day Nursery's equal opportunities policy.
- To safeguard and promote the well being of the children.
- To attend occasional staff meetings outside of working hours
- A willingness to continue with training to aid both the nursery and your own personal development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8,732.00-£26,447.00 per year
