Salary🌈The Ark Day Care Nursery 🌈 is currently looking for a Nursery practitioner or Apprentice working towards a L3 qualification, for a homely, fun, and exciting nursery based in Dagenham.
Qualified Nursery practitioner required (minimum NVQ level 2) for our preschool/toddler rooms
Current hours are 8:45 am-3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The nursery will extend hours from 8:00-5:00 and 9:00-6:00 in due course.
Ongoing training and support is available
Job Types:- Contract part-time, currently term-time.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Nursery: 1 year post qualification experience (preferred)
- Childcare L2 and L3
- With an ambition to learn and progress in your role.
- We will also welcome an enthusiastic Apprentice.
Duties will include:
- Supporting children's settling in
- Providing stimulating activities supporting children to thrive through play
- Planning and completing observations on children's development, and being able to link this to the EYFS
- Engage in music and dance activities
- Provide daily feedback to parents on how their child has been, and what they have learned
- Support children to understand the importance of healthy eating at mealtimes
- Help children with toileting and nappy changes
(DBS is required)
