Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. Duties:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Observe and assess children's development and progress
- Provide personal care, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with hygiene routines
- Have positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Possess knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Drive: Demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic in providing exceptional care for children.
- English: Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Leadership: Exhibit leadership qualities to effectively manage a group of children and guide them in their learning experiences.
- Experience with children: Have previous experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Ability to manage: Possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Childcare: Understand the principles of childcare and be able to provide appropriate care for children's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Nursery: Familiarity with nursery policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
