Nursery Practitioner - Victoria Quay

We are currently seeking applications for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced and qualified individual to fill the following post in our Victoria Quay Childcare Team:
NURSERY PRACTITIONER
VICTORIA QUAY NURSERY, EDINBURGH, EH6 6QQ
40 hours/week (Monday – Friday, hours between 7.30am – 6.30pm)
£23,795.20/annum depending on qualification
The successful applicant will work as part of a team delivering a high-quality early learning and childcare service for children aged 0-5 years within a workplace nursery setting.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Pre-Birth to 3 Guidance and/or the early level of the Curriculum for Excellence, experience of working with 0–5-year-olds and the ability to work as part of a team in the planning, implementation and evaluation of high-quality learning opportunities.
Applicants must currently hold, be willing to or already be working towards a relevant childcare qualification for this role. If an applicant is currently unqualified, we have an in-house SQA Approved Training Department which provides full Childcare Qualifications for this post that can be accessed by successful applicants, N.B. this qualification may be fully funded.
Please note that all applicants for this post must be eligible to: -
• Register at practitioner level with the Scottish Social Services Council.
• Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
• Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this.
• Pass stringent Scottish Government Security Clearance Protocols.
