Nursery Room Leader

Happy Days Nursery in Playbox is seeking a level 3 qualified Room Supervisor to join their team, working on a full-time capacity.

We pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to work and live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard by our dedicated team of professional childcare colleagues.
As Room Supervisor you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum "Where Children Shine" you will also support your room based colleagues, overseeing the day to day running of your allocated Nursery Room.
Your roles and responsibilities as Room Supervisor would include -

Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work

Having great initiative and a "can do" attitude

Holding a recognised level 3 qualification in childcare
Supporting, mentoring and coaching colleagues, through induction, supervision and appraisal
Outstanding Childcare
Being a "key person" for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
Using our unique "Where Children Shine" curriculum to observe, plan and assess children's learning opportunities
Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
Leading the quality delivery in your allocated room

Supporting colleagues with empathy and care
