The role will suit individuals with experience in nutrition, ideally gained within a retail environment although consideration will be given to those who have gained this knowledge from alternative environments.
Our company has several dedicated areas of speciality including organic food, skincare, eco products and natural remedies. The role will focus on the latter offering customers a range of advice and services in areas such as supplements, skincare and natural products. The role forms an integral part of achieving the company's aim of delivering first-class customer service to back up a high-quality product range.
Experience or knowledge in the following fields is required:
- nutrition/naturopathic medicine
- experience gained from a retail environment
- understanding of vitamins and herbal remedies with the ability to pass knowledge on in a confident manner
- ability to demonstrate a real passion for retail and natural health
- a versatile individual with a positive and can-do attitude
- good organisational skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- know and demonstrate Windfall Natural customer service standards
- facing customers in a friendly manner giving the best and safest advice on supplements, nutrition and lifestyle
- contribute to the team's effectiveness to deliver the company's service standards
- providing customer assistance in other areas of the store as required, using knowledge of natural products and supplements to inform the customer
People, Training & Development
- develop your own product knowledge of Windfall Natural products
- attend/complete training as necessary
- attend regular staff meetings
- receiving training from suppliers
- keeping up to date with nutritional professional training and updates from industry
Merchandising & Stock Management
- regular replenishment of stock, checking expiration dates, facing up, rotating stock and regular price checking in line with company guidelines
- receiving deliveries + scanning onto the EPOS system correctly
- assist with periodic stock take within the store as required
- assist the team with merchandising stock and displays
General Store Duties
- open and lock up responsibility depending on rota
- handling cash and card transactions in line with company procedure
- assist the team with daily cleaning and tidying of shop floor, office and store
- checking fridge and shelve items for expiry dates
