OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ADVISOR

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ADVISOR TO JOIN A BIG NAME IN THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY

• On-site in Stevenage
• Initial 12-month contract
• Circa £40ph via Umbrella (Inside IR35)
• 37 hour working week
• BPSS Clearance sponsored by the client

WHAT WILL THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ADVISOR BE DOING?

The role of the Occupational Health Advisor will be to coordinate the health surveillance programme including independently performing the assessments, analysing the results, and providing appropriate feedback to managers. Assessments will include Spirometry, Audiometry, skin assessments and biological monitoring.
Other responsibilities include:

• Making recommendations regarding necessary workplace modifications e.g., posture and/or work environment and display screen assessments.
• Undertaking fitness for task assessments e.g., forklift truck, working at height, travel health
• Promoting and support employee's wellbeing with proactive measures

WE NEED THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ADVISOR TO HAVE…

• A Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Occupational health.
• Be a Registered Nurse in the UK
• Occupational health case management experience
• Experience of independently conducting health surveillance i.e., Spirometry, Audiometry, skin surveillance and venepuncture.
• Experience of delivering presentations
