Occupational Health Physician Required For Esb

Cpl Healthcare are recruiting an Occupational Health Physician for a part time position in ESB Occupational Health Services Dublin

Job Summary:

The Occupational Health Physician is responsible for providing medical expertise and advice to ensure the health and safety of employees in the workplace. This includes conducting medical assessments relating to sickness absence, employee related health concerns either attributed to or potentially impacting upon their working environment and advice regarding appropriate rehabilitation. Assessment of prospective employees with regard to their fitness for employment, under specified role . Review and advise on results of Occupational Health monitoring requirements in relation to specific exposure hazards. The Occupational Health Physician collaborates with other healthcare professionals and works closely with management to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

(a) Hold registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the speciality of Occupational Medicine;  

(b) Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

(c) In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health principles, practices, and legislation.

(d) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to employees, management, and other stakeholders.

(e) Proficient in using electronic medical records systems and other relevant software.

Role:

• The OHP will be required to attend the ESB office in 27 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2.
