Opening spring 2024, our new Hamberley Neurocare home in Basingstoke will provide rehabilitation, recovery, and residential care for people living with complex neurological conditions.
We are looking for a passionate, caring Occupational Therapist to be part of our new home.

What you'll be doing:
In liaison with the Therapy Lead, be responsible for the delivery of Occupational Therapy services to all Residents and clients.
provide leadership in all aspects of Occupational Therapy in accordance with the Codes of Practice of the College of Occupational Therapy.
provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents' physical and psychological needs.
maintain concise records and provide reports as necessary for each resident's case review.
undertake assessments of daily living skills to identify level of functional ability, risks and level of support needed.
To liaise with appropriate outside organisations for equipment provision eg wheelchair services and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all Occupational Therapy equipment.
Promote personal and social skills and leisure activities for all residents and liaise with relatives and carers with empathy giving information, support and advice whenever and as often as required.

Could you be part of our team?
We're looking for :
A qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
Two years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working within a neuro environment .
Commitment to make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
Have excellent communications skills, a great attitude to teamwork and a desire to lead on patient care.
Flexible to work shifts.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
