Acute Occupational Therapist - Older People's Service (Locum Role)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Working with the MDT to assess and discharge patients back into their own home.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for promoting independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Strong clinical skills and effective communication abilities.
• Current licensure or registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
