Occupational Therapist - Acute / Inpatient Eating Disorder

Our client has an rewarding position as an Occupational Therapist permanent full time vacancy in their acute Inpatient Eating Disorder unit in their psychiatric hospital.
Our client have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders.

Suitable candidates will have a degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc) and registration with HCPC. The role involves applying OT interventions 1-to-1 with patients and also leading group work, and experience of both is required.
Experience is required of undertaking formulation, risk assessment and positive risk management, and working with people with mental health difficulties. Applicants with experience of Eating Disorders are welcomed, but this is not essential.
The role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to demonstrate and apply understanding of policies and procedures. Personal attributes needed include:
