Salary 15.90 - 23.12 p/hr
Benefits: 27 days holiday, rising to 33 with length of service
Contract: Permanent, full or part time
The duties of the Occupational Therapist:
Responsible for assessment of service user needs and to develop an appropriate person centred treatment programme to meet individual needsTo promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service users and their representativesTo liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of occupational therapyTo ensure appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources
The required skills/experience of the Occupational Therapist:
Knowledge and application of OT assessments and interventions using clinical reasoningAn ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to occupational performanceDiploma / BSC (Hons) in Occupational TherapyCurrent and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions CouncilEvidence of Continued Professional Development
