Salary JustOT are looking to recruit a band 4 Rapid Acess to Rehab AssistantOccupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.
The pay for this position is £13- £15 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on going duration.
37.5 (can be flexible if candidate can do less hours)
This post is an assistant practitioner post to support the work of the interdisciplinary Rapid Access to Rehabilitation Service at the hospital.
As part of the role, the post holder will be carrying out a range of physical, cognitive, psychological and communication interventions as directed by the multi-therapy team including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and clinical psychology.
The post holder will also support the team in administrative functions to ensure the smooth working of the team.
Rehabilitation Assistants do not hold a professional qualification, and work only under the direction of qualified therapists and require a period of induction and training, approximately three months, to achieve required competency to perform all tasks.
Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
