To coincide with our growth and development plans for 2022 and beyond, we now seek to appoint a new ocean freight coordinator to our growing team based from our offices in Tamworth.

The Role:

To carry out start-to-finish Ocean Import procedures, liaising with shipping lines and overseas agents, negotiating rates, provide spot quotations for FCL & LCL Shipments with high levels of customer service at all levels. You will be responsible for the entire life cycle of the freight process from origin through to final delivery and invoice, managing key relationships with a long-standing customer base.

Essential requirements:

2 - 5 years experience in ocean freight forwarding

Experience with import or export operations

Experience with Cargowise software preferable

Customs experience for Ocean Import procedures preferable

The Package:

Salary £35,000 (Negotiable)

Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00pm

25 days holiday + 8 days BH
