Our client is an extremely well-established commercial property organisation looking for an Administrator within their friendly and growing Legal Team.

This is a 6-month maternity cover FTC with the possible potential to join the organisation on a longer-term basis. You must be experienced in a similar position and able to start within 1 week.

JOB TITLE: Property Management Assistant/Administrator
JOB TYPE: Full-time, 6-month fixed term contract
COMPANY TYPE: Commercial Property
SALARY: 32,000 - 35,000 per annum
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm - Fully Office-based
LOCATION: Westminster/Pimlico, London
Responsibilities/Duties
- Typing cover letters and emails
- Scanning correspondence and legal documents
- Responsibility for ordering stationery supplies
- Printing documents for signing and arranging for them to be signed by directors
- Management of solicitors' files - electronic and occasionally hard copy - scanning/saving/opening/closing and managing solicitors' inboxes when they are out of the office
- Working with excel spreadsheets
- Taking responsibility for collecting post/DX for the office, scanning to the recipient by email and in respect of legal post saving it in the relevant online file (Sharepoint)
- Taking post/DX in the evening to the post room - franking/recorded/special/DX for the whole office
- Phone transfers/messages
- Responding to tasks on BigHand, a digital dictation system used to 'pool' support resource across our three offices
- Working with the Legal PA's across 2 offices
- Providing assistance to other Teams within the office as and when required, particularly during the weeks running up to the management meeting.
Skills and Experience
- Experience within a similar administrative role essential!
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- An interest in property and Property Law is essential
- Willingness to learn and develop on the job skills and knowledge
- Clear communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Bright and ambitious team player
