Job description

We are looking for a part time or full-time Administrator to join a busy team in Billingham. This is for a contract position (16-18 months) and our client is keen for somebody to start as soon as possible.

Job Specification:

  • Answer telephone and greet visitors
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor accounts and general email boxes
  • Print, sort and distribute invoices
  • Raise and record job numbers for small works and projects
  • Record and update contract award / contract start information
  • Produce purchase and subcontractor orders
  • Set up and verify new subcontractors
  • Maintain stationery supplies
  • Book accommodation
  • Record staff holidays
  • General support for accounts team

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous office experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Confident communicator
  • Attention to detail as well as data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload

Full training will be given so no previous experience of bespoke software necessary.

Benefits:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Part time or full time available, can be flexible on hours no less than 28/30 per week
  • Full time hours: 36.5 hours - 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 3.45pm Friday
  • Maternity cover 16-18 Month Contract
  • £13.00ph (£24,674 based on 36.5 hours)
