Woodchips cattery and stables are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join and support our office function. The candidate must be solutions driven with strong problem-solving skills and have a good eye for details. You will have extensive knowledge in providing operational office management. This role will give you the opportunity to put your own stamp on the running of the office. Good knowledge of HR and IT required.
The role is based at our office in Bonnybridge.
General overview of responsibilities:
Daily running of the office
Support the MD with any specific tasks requested.
Monitor all enquiries.
Keep track of shared diary.
Use our job software system package which includes invoicing.
HR duties including holiday, sickness, interviews, the recruitment of new staff, new starter packs and more.
Prepare payroll information and supplier payments.
Keeping our payment system up to date on a weekly basis.
Ensure H&S accreditations and insurances are up to date at all times.
Working with team members on building client relationships which will lead to repeat business.
Maintain business IT (such as Office 365, antivirus software), internet and communications systems and support the implementation of new software when or if needed.
Answering all incoming calls to the office and meet & greet visitors.
Previous office experience or experience in a similar role
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and exemplary prioritisation skills.
It is crucial in this role that you possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills and be familiar with working with databases.
Good working knowledge of Excel
have an eye for detail and be able to multitask and prioritise tasks on your own accord.
Ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
