Job description

Role: Office Administrator/Junior PA

Location: Lythan St Annes

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000

Hours: 9am - 5pm (mon-fri)

Hybrid working: (Tuesdays & Thursdays in the office)

You will be joining at an exciting and pivotal time supporting and maintaining the business growth. This role primarily involves managing the smooth running of the Office. It is a busy and varied role, with involvement in different areas of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the day-to-day smooth running of the office.
  • Acting as a personal assistant to the Ops Director
  • Organising weekly team meetings and Zoom/Teams invites.
  • Management of the general email Inbox and ensuring Purchase Orders are raised in a timely manner and to deadlines
  • Keeping computer databases/spreadsheets up to data
  • Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Handling and responding to correspondence including emails, phone calls for the Operations Director and Operations Manager
  • Being the central point of contact for the day-to-day operations and communicating updates to the team.
  • Organising company travel


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Proficient in computerised systems, including data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving environment, with an ability to handle numerous projects with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with good time management skills
  • Computer literate - Excel, Word, Mac & Windows OS.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ambitious who is looking to grow and progress in their career.


DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an operations administrative or clerical role preferred
  • Experience of working in the Utility industry would be valuable but those new to the industry will be given all necessary support by our experienced staff.
