We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and customers
- Support the office staff in daily administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for document creation and collaboration
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic clerical skills such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
