A well-established family wholesale/retail office and mail-order business specializing in branded consumer electronics, located in London Old Street EC1, is currently seeking a candidate for an immediate start only.
We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, energetic, intelligent, enthusiastic, dynamic, and capable of remaining composed under pressure.
The ideal candidate should possess strong multitasking abilities, including receptionist duties, customer service skills, proficiency in IT (including Microsoft Office & Excel), and preferably, some knowledge of mail-order operations including Amazon & Shopify which would be an advantage. Additionally, a willingness to assist with light picking and packing tasks during peak periods is required.
A high level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal, along with excellent telephone etiquette, is essential. International applicants must hold a valid work permit. Furthermore, candidates should provide verifiable references from previous employers, demonstrating a clean criminal record with no convictions.
The working hours for this position are from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays, with additional shifts on Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm only.
The starting salary is approximately £28,000 gross per annum , along with other benefits and pension contributions for selected candidates.
