Office Cleaner

Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to the people of Fife. Due to retirement, we now have a vacancy for a cleaner.

We are looking for someone trustworthy and reliable who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and has a “can do” attitude. You must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and adhere to the need for confidentiality.

The cleaning will be done daily, either before 8.30am or after 5pm when the office is closed so you will be lone working and be expected to open/lock up the office. Previous cleaning experience in a similar setting is preferred.

Duties will include the general day to day cleaning of offices, restrooms and kitchen areas including the sweeping, mopping, hoovering of floor areas, emptying of bins, dusting, wiping down tables/desks, restocking bathrooms/kitchens with supplies whilst adhering to safety guidelines.

You will be expected to communicate effectively with your line manager to ensure that the cleaning is done effectively and efficiently and to report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
