Team Coordinator / Office Coordinator
Location: Launceston, Cornwall
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30pm, Onsite
Salary: Competitive salary. Up to and around £30k depending on experience
Project Partners are working closely with a Utilities and Telecoms client who are on the lookout for an experienced Office Coordinator to come and join their team. Job Role
As a Utilities Office Coordinator, your role is to ensure smooth communication and coordination between on-site teams and the office for successful utilities projects. You'll be responsible for organising field operations, resolving issues, and maintaining a connection between teams on-site and those in the office.
- Facilitate collaboration among onsite teams and ensure they have the necessary resources.
Act as a link between the field teams, office staff, and project managers. - Work with project managers to keep track of progress.
Ensure that office and field teams are aligned with project timelines and goals. - Address any issues related to work quality and communicate with the office for support.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, both onsite and in the office, to meet project demands.
- Manage inventory and ensure the timely availability of resources.
- Enforce safety protocols onsite and communicate safety updates to the office.
- Maintain open communication channels between onsite and office teams.
Provide regular updates to the office on project status, challenges, and achievements. - Collaborate with office to ensure seamless information flow.
Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and project file management.
Candidate Experience:
- Should have experience coordinating teams, especially in utilities.
- Must be good at organizing, handling many tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Need to be good at talking to people and working well with others.
- Strong organisational skills
- Great telephone manner
- Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
