We are looking to recruit a new Office Junior / Administrator to join the operations team. You will be based in our fabulous office and support the customer service department.
Ideally you will have worked in an office environment previously for a minimum of 6 months and looking to take on your next challenge.
As part of the Customer Service department you will assist with the following Office Junior tasks:
- Inputting of information and orders onto the Sage 50 system
- Ensure address and delivery details are correct
- Produce shipping labels for dispatch department
- Answer the telephone to customers and deal with enquiries or transfer to the appropriate person. You will be dealing with other businesses on a daily basis
- Able to take messages and forward to the relevant department
- Liaise with customers regarding their enquiry and call them with updates if necessary.
- Assist with all filing of paperwork and orders.
- Update the system with "out of stock" items.
Skills required for the Office Junior / Administrator:
- There are a lot of orders so quick keyboard skills essential and most importantly, you must have good attention to detail. If an address detail looks wrong, you must be able to check and confirm it prior to being put on the system!
- Able to match invoices to delivery notes.
- Able to write a professional and friendly email.
- Excellent communication skills and friendly telephone manner
- You should have completed your A levels or BTEC equivalent.
- Able to Microsoft software, Outlook and ideally used Sage or similar system.
We work Monday to Friday so there is no weekend work. The hours are 9am to 5pm, with half an hour for lunch, total 37.5 hours per week. 20 days holiday and Bank Holidays, plus pension scheme, free parking and we are on a good public transport link. The dress code is smart but casual.
