We are looking for an experienced and organised Office Manager to join our public services team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that the staff are well-supported and the clients are satisfied. You will also be involved in planning, budgeting, and reporting activities for the department.
Your new role
Manage the office staff, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating their performanceCoordinate the office schedules, meetings, events, and travel arrangementsMaintain the office equipment, supplies, and inventoryHandle the office correspondence, filing, and records managementPrepare and monitor the office budget and expensesGenerate and analyse reports and data related to the office performance and activitiesLiaise with other departments, external partners, and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with the organisational policies, procedures, and standardsResolve any office issues or problems that may ariseWhat you'll need to succeedA bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related fieldAt least three years of experience as an Office Manager or a similar role, preferably in the public sectorExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsStrong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other office softwareKnowledge of the public services sector and its regulationsA positive, flexible, and customer-oriented attitudeWhat you'll get in return- £28,000 - £35,000
