Office Operations Manager

Salary 38,000 p.a. to 48,000 p.a. dependent on experience
We are delighted to be supporting a well established and very highly regarded Manufacturing business, in their search for an Office Operations Manager. This is a multifaceted role, where two days will rarely be the same.
Reporting directly to the managing Director, your duties will include:
Office Management:
maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs
record office expenditure and manage the budget
manage online and paper filing systems
maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
utilise a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
HR Assistance:
assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, liaising with recruitment partners and organising interview schedules
maintain up to date employee records, in accordance with GDPR
promote staff development and training
take the lead with onboarding new colleagues
support disciplinary and off boarding processes if needed
proactively look for ways to keep employee welfare and engagement consistently high
Operations:
assist with the management of key projects, as directed by the MD
manage emergency maintenance & repairs schedules
review and update health and safety policies with the H&S Manager, and ensure they're observed
maintain supplier relationships and negotiate preferential terms where possible
update, manage and effectively distribute SOP documentation
encourage business-wide compliance and good practice
This is a 100% office based role, with working hours of 8:30am to 5pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8:30am to 3:30pm (Friday).
