Are you a Construction HSE professional, with experience in safe by design, design risk evaluation and project HSE management? Then you are what we are looking for, so consider:
Your future plans

  • HSE Systems and Process Education – are you able to support implementation on projects during Development and Construction phases of project HSE requirements?
  • Can you support the establishment of  the key requirements to comply with in relation to the RWE Offshore HSSE & Asset Risk Management System requirements. 
  • Are you experienced in  Individual mentoring of key project personnel during onboarding during development or construction stage on key aspects of the  HSSE & Asset Risk Management System requirements. This includes Project HSE Management,  Safe by Design, General Offshore working etc. 
  • Can you provide Independent HSE Advice – providing independent HSE advice to projects on specialist topics of compliance with the HSSE & Asset Risk Management System requirements, Safe by design processes, and industry good practice
  • Do you have experience in HSE Assurance Monitoring – providing scheduled independent HSE assurance monitoring of projects to ensure that successful conduct of business activities, internal processes and the production of credible information against the HSSE & Safety Risk Management System requirements. 
  • Are you able to produce independent report to the Project Team and internal stakeholders as evidence of assurance monitoring. Working with Project Teams on solutions to close compliance gaps.
  • Used to liaising and driving lessons learned and HSE initiatives, through engagement with HSE counterparts across other Offshore Wind Development and Construction projects globally
  • Can you support the development and promotion of an excellent HSE culture across Offshore Development & Construction teams
  • Keen on supporting HSE Project Teams in the understanding and compliance aspects of the RWE Offshore HSSE & Asset Risk Management System requirements


Your profile

  • Degree or equivalent in engineering / Safety /Environment. 
  • Relevant international recognised qualification as a HSE professional
  • HSE Construction background and relevant HSE construction qualification
  • Performance Orientation: Self-motivated to drive the business, increase performance and deliver results
  • Strategic thinking: Push the boundaries to grow the business  
  • Continuous Improvement: Constantly optimizing the business 
  • Integration Management: Ability to lead teams through change processes

  • Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate internally & externally
  • Open mindset: Self-reflective personality, able to l
  • earn and act on feedback
  • Hands-on mentality: Actively involving him-/herself, pragmatic and fact focused attitude
  • Significant experience as HSE professional
  • Chartered HSE Professional with construction project experience
  • Engineering qualifications desirable
  • Experience of implementing safe by design and being involved in project design from an HSE Perspective
  • Experience in working on offshore projects in Offshore wind, oil and gas or similar 
  • HSE Auditing qualifications and experience in leading audits and producing audit reports essential 
  • Previous experience working in Wind Development and Construction and understanding of activities during these lifecycle sequences
  • Previous experience of working in Oil and Gas, Offshore wind sector, experience of vessel management and maritime activities would advantageous
  • Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of safe by design principles and process implementation 
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible, practical and proactive approach HSE management
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Fluent in English and additional languages an advantage
