Contract type - Fixed term - 24 months Full time - 35 hours per week This post will cultivate and co-ordinate engagement with internal and external stakeholders and co-ordinate public consultation on the re-hang, re-interpretation and look and feel of Old College, the historic centre of the University of Edinburgh. This post will work across many communities to develop proposals for the Old College Heritage & Values Project board to consider for this critically important work, and will do so by working in tandem with the wider Heritage Collections team. The postholder is also a member of the Research Collections Discovery and Projects team and will take part in planning for the team. Your skills and attributes for success: Current professional knowledge of museums, wider curatorial practices, or community engagement with heritage Demonstrable experience in consultation exercises Demonstrable experience of management of medium- to large-scale projects Proven track record of collaboration with academic and public audiences and heritage collections Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
