Oncology is a fast-paced, highly competitive, and technically complex market. Our team has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, highly skilled, and passionate Brand and Customer Manager (BCM) who wants to make a difference for cancer patients.

 

As the BCM, reporting to the Senior Brand and Customer Manager (sBCM), you will be part of a diverse team of relevant subject matter experts supporting the implementation of the UK strategic and tactical plans.

The BCM role will require co-ordination of the cross-functional team in the development of insights driven operational plans and campaigns with activities that deliver value and drive the desired behavioural change across our stakeholder groups. The BCM is responsible for aligning all marketing tactics, materials, and messaging to the strategic L3 plan, thereby delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients, customers and our business.

The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to simplify complex concepts in the field of oncology.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement clear and actionable strategies, campaigns, and tactics to achieve business objectives through strong KPI setting and review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, locally and globally, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing plans.
  • Establish feedback loops to ensure strategies and plans are insight-driven and customer-centric.
  • Forecast and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Ownership and management of the promotional budget to deliver on plan.
  • Utilisation of our strategic planning process to develop a segmented customer engagement approach.  Producing customer journeys and engagement plans with personalisation of messaging to drive behaviour change with key customers.
  • Lead the XFT execution of agile principles to effectively execute on quarterly OKRs.
  • Work with Agile principles and support the cross-functional team to achieve this effectively.
  • Provide innovation through testing new marketing channels, types of content and channel execution strategies.
  • Strong agency management.
  • Build therapeutic and product knowledge.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred.
  • Experience working in oncology is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and contributing to marketing plans.
  • Experience in executing strategies through strategic account planning and tactical implementation.
  • Excellent collaborator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • The ability to be solutions focused, positively influencing others.
  • Self-motivated and well organised, demonstrating good attention to detail.
  • Proactiveness and ability to take initiative.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Adept at synthesizing complex information.
  • Strong learning agility.
  • Apply strategic thought and planning frameworks to build strategic and operational plans.
  • An innovative growth mindset utilising a test and learn approach to develop and refine strategies, tactics measurable deliverables and return on investment.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity with flexible/adaptable ways of working.
  • Ability to lead without authority.
