Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide academic support and guidance.
Please note: Successful shortlisted candidates will need to deliver a 30 minute online trial lesson to the Director of Learning
Your role will involve assessing students' needs, developing personalised resources, and helping them achieve their educational goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on student's lives and contribute to their academic success.
Duties:
- Assess students' academic strengths and weaknesses
- Develop personalized resources
- Provide one-on-one or small-group online tutoring sessions
- Teach study skills and effective learning strategies
- Assist with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
- Communicate with the Senior Team to provide updates on student performance
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Maths and English ***ESSENTIAL***
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of different ages and abilities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles
