Online Merchandiser Assistant
What: E-Commerce Junior Merchandiser Role
Where: Tamworth
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 Basic
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates who are looking to step into the world of digital marketing in a dynamic and expanding company!
My client is one of the UK's leading online retailers for all things technology and gaming. Although they have been trading for over 25 years, they are very much growing and are expanding rapidly, with an amazing turnover of £100m!
Role:
They are looking for a Graduate Online Merchandiser, this role will include aspects of Online Merchandising, .
You will be responsible for the creation of compelling content, including product pages, blogs, and website content to drive sales and increase the speed to market on new products via their website and marketplaces.
Duties Include:
* Working with the Merch Team, to list up and coming tech products from data entry to the production top quality
* Liaise and build relationships with vendors to source required product information
* Assist in keeping product categories on the website consistent.
* Helping the creation of landing pages
* Use of our CMS system and CMS plugin
* On-site Merchandising
The Ideal Candidate:
A graduate who has a passion for Computing/Gaming (Desired not essential). You must have a hunger to learn with good communication skills. You need to be analytical and commercially minded. You have to be resilient and a forward thinker as this role is fast-paced and they don't want someone being left behind!
Requirements:
* Recent graduate with a degree in a buesiness/marketing related subject
* You must have excellent time management and communication skills
* You must be analytical and commercially minded
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Able to use your own initiative and work as part of a growing team
Desirable but not required:
* Experience of inputting data
* Working with E-commerce or within the same team
* Interest or experience in the tech industry
* Previous experience of product listing
