On/Off Shore Electrical Fitter

Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking for a new role?  Are you interested in the offshore sector?  Are you looking to experience Offshore work?  If so... this role is for you. 

TR2 Recruitment are working closely with an Offshore client who are looking for Electrical fitters to join their team to carry out both onshore and offshore work.   

Candidates will be based in our clients head office in the heart of Falmouth and will be expected to travel to sites offshore.  An Offshore Premium will be paid whilst out on site. 

As an Electrical Fitter you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical building of control panels and plant equipment.  

• Installing cable management solutions for electrical panels to equipment to include cable tray, trunking and conduit.
• Initial testing of new equipment to include first power up, fault finding and functional testing. 
• Installation and refurbishment of on-site equipment. 
• Mechanically building control panels and including switchgear, contractors and control equipment 
• Electrically wiring up control panels and associated plant equipment 
• Initial point to point wiring checks and testing 
• Fault finding and functional testing of new and returned hire equipment 
• Refurbishment of existing customer equipment 

Candidates are expected to have the following previous experience; 

• Previous Electrical experience in a similar role (single, three phase and low voltage systems) 
• 18th Edition Certification (desirable but not essential)
• The Ability to fault find on various electrical systems and solve problems as they arise 
• Able to read and work from electronic schematics 
• Competent at Soldering wires and electronic components 
• Strong communicator with excellent IT Skills including MS Office 
• Eligible to work in the UK 
• Valid Passport 
• Full UK Driving Licence
