Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, who is looking to work Out of Hours in a brand-new state of the art advanced veterinary practice.
Become part of our team made up of 16 Vets, 21 RVN+SVN’s, 10 VCA’s, 10 CCA’s and 3 practice managers.
Our friendly, highly skilled group of Veterinary Surgeons include Surgery, Medicine, ECC, Ophthalmology and Exotic certificate holders working alongside 11 other vets perusing certificates in their field of interest.
The brand new, modern, state of art Advanced Practice in Stanway, Colchester is designed and built with 3 objectives in mind: great client journey, excellent patient care and equally important, great working environment for our colleagues.
We offer 24 hrs in patient care, CT scans, Endoscopy, Arthroscopy, Advanced Orthopaedic procedures, Advanced ultrasound, Laparoscopic procedures including spays in addition to everything else generally offered by a 1st opinion veterinary practice. To promote excellent patient care and comfort we have a dedicated ICU unit as well as 4 separate patient wards with top of the range fully climate-controlled enclosures.
Key Points:
• Salary between £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and skillsets.
• 4 nights working 8am-8pm followed by 5 nights off.
• Post graduate certificate studies encourages and funded.
• Comfortable workload with a combination of Inpatient and ECC Nursing.
• Practice phone diverted to Vets-Now form 10pm till 8am leaving you free to focus on in patient care only.
• Work alongside a Vet and Veterinary Care Assistant with ample time for handover at the start and end of your shifts.
