Your new company
I am working exclusively with a regulator, and we are looking for an Interim Chief of Staff to join the organisation on a 5-month basis. This role will be supporting the Executive director and senior leadership team to ensure that all the key internal stakeholders are held accountable and keep focused on their major projects. You will assist in doing this by mobilising senior colleagues and delegating tasks, actions and resources.
Your new role
The successful applicant will be:
* Supporting the Executive Director and Executive Management Team in effective delivery of responsibilities through outcome-focused governance and engagement.
* Ensure the Executive Director receives timely, high-quality briefings and support. This will also include setting standards and driving continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain a focus on performance delivery within an evolving context.
* Collaborate to shape and implement Professional Regulations equality, diversity, and inclusion action plan.
* Develop and maintain strong links with key stakeholders across the regulator
* Act on behalf of the Executive Director on key issues, representing their views and acting as a critical gateway.
* Design, lead, and manage the Professional Regulation extended private office function, optimising the Executive Director's time and priorities.
What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who is:
* Experienced of working within a private office
* Able to work at pace, with a range of competing deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of the Public and Regulatory Sector
* Strong understanding of strategic implementation
* Previous experience of working extensively with the Senior Leadership Team
What you'll get in return
This is a 5-month temp role, paying up to £457/day Umbrella. Hybrid working for two days in the office (Central London and Zone 2).
