DUTIES
Your duties as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director include:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organisation's mission and objectives
• Provide leadership and guidance to the executive team and staff, ensuring clarity of purpose and alignment with organisational goals
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across all departments
• Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community organisations
• Lead the development and implementation of a robust fundraising strategy to support the organisation's financial sustainability and growth
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement
• Represent the organisation at public events, conferences, and media engagements, raising awareness of our mission and impact
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the non-profit sector or a related field. Although, the organisation will consider candidates from other industries / sectors, providing you have the leadership skills required for the role
• Strong strategic planning and organisational development skills, with a track record of achieving measurable results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal
• Experience in fundraising, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and stewardship would be highly desirable
• A passion for social justice and a commitment to supporting disadvantaged communities
