Job Description
We are looking for an experienced risk professional to join our Retail team as an Operational Risk Consultant.
You will act like an operational business partner and be a key point of contact when addressing Operational Risks across our Retail function.
Stakeholder management skills are key for this role as you will present at Risk Committee meetings and need to face off to first line teams and challenge and review their ideas.
The overall purpose of this role is to support the development and embedding of the Operational Risk management and internal control framework across L&G Retail.
Ideally you will have previously worked within financial services but an Insurance background is not required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Degree level or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A relevant risk management qualification such as IOR or IRM is desirable.
Knowledge:
  • A good understanding of the financial services industry.
Experience:
  • Sound experience in financial services risk management is desirable.
Leadership:
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills.
