Location Coveringour sites acrossBerkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton.
We have an excellent opportunity for an Operational Support Leader to join us to provide flexible support and guidance to operational services across defined geographical areas.
Within this varied role you will ensure that the services we offer are adhering to the correct policies, procedures, and that contractual and client outcomes are delivered.
You will also support with coaching and the development of existing teams, along with the training of new staff as and when required.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- The implementation of new services or new ways of working including office 365
- Service support
- Quality assurance
- Client database recording system training and other training required due to roll out of new processes and systems
- Provide cover for staff shortages as and when required
- Setting up new properties
- Supporting recruitment, including interviewing and selection
- Reviewing operational policies and procedures and ensuring changes are embedded in services
- Identify opportunities to introduce new processes that improve service operations and ways of working
- Deliver consistency across operations and support service to develop and adopt consistent approaches
- Challenge poor practice and share good practice
We are looking for someone with experience of working in homelessness services or a similar type of setting plus experience of managing and leading teams including coaching, recruiting, and training staff.
You will have the ability to follow policies and procedures, systems and processes and support other people to do the same
You will not be afraid to challenge poor practice and you will take steps to support staff in delivering excellent practice.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal), you will have the ability to form effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues.
Additional Requirements
- You will need to have the ability to work early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends where required
- An enhanced with Barred List(s) disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role. This would be completed on appointment of the role
- Full drivers’ licence and access to a vehicle
