An exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Manager has arisen for our client, who are
a dynamic family run business who have worked within the IT Networking Solutions industry for 20+ years.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office/operations management and have a passion for technology, with a desire to thrive in a growing organisation.
Working within a small team based in Warrington, you will be responsible for the general day-to-day office management and overseeing the scheduling and coordination of projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
As the Operational Support Manager, you will be responsible for :-
Provide an efficient and highly confidential service to the Senior Leadership Team
Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the smooth running of the computer networking business.
Manage and supervise and team of technicians and support staff, providing guidance, support and training as needed.
Oversee daily operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Assist with the day-to-day meeting organisation and time management via MS Outlook calendar.
Minute the Area Leadership Meeting, compiling all relevant paperwork and producing forward actions.
Manage and order all office supplies and liaise with Landlord for all facilities items relating to the building and office.
Conduct weekly fire checks relating to equipment, exits and first aid.
Order IT equipment and relevant PPE for all new starters
Arrange induction meetings for new starters.
As the successful Operational Support Manager, you will have the following skills :-
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in office/operations management, preferable within a computer network industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing teams.
Knowledge of computer networking/technologies would be advantageous.
Proficiency in project management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
Strong work ethic.
