Operational Training & Quality Team Leader

Procure Recruitment Group are now recruiting for an exciting opportunity working within the Warehouse and Distribution team as a Operational Training & Quality Team Leader.

** Please note that a Fork Lift certification is essential for this role **

Main Duties Include -

• Control the training and delivery of training programmes (non MHE) for new staff;
• Control the Training Matrix for all staff in the department with the support of the Warehouse Training Administrator
• Provide 'hands on’ training to existing and new staff in all areas of the Department
• Create and collate training packs for new starters;
• Liaise with HR and safety counterparts to control training calendars and ensure that staff attend scheduled trainings;
• Mentor operatives as part of Warehouse training 'academies’ or apprenticeship schemes;
• Co-ordinate with the MHE training team to ensure that fork lift training, refreshers and competence training are delivered and up to date;
• Be the Departmental lead and prepare reports for meetings focused upon general warehouse information;
• Complete any AdHoc duties day to day.

Key Skills to have -

• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in an operational leadership or training delivery role is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years previous experience within a food manufacture or distribution setting is preferable.
• Previous operational experience in a warehouse setting is preferable.
• Literate with good command of English and communication skills;
• Strong IT abilities (Excel is paramount);
• Previous supervisory experience is preferable;
• Reliable and with excellent timekeeping;
• Strong customer focus;
• Ability to perform under pressure;
• Friendly enthusiastic, positive nature with a 'can do’ attitude;
• Ability to communicate well - strong interpersonal skills;
• Critical thinking and problem solving;
• A strong awareness of Time Management to be able to plan workloads and achieve goals in a timely manner;
• Ability to use mechanical handling equipment with appropriate certification (Reach/Counterbalance);
• A good sense of responsibility to plant and fellow co-workers;
